This is a good idea for a product if you are going to be flying with a lap child. Unfortunately, I think this product was a waste of money. It needs some more thought and redesign effort to be put into it before it should be marketed further. I didn't like that it was not approved for the takeoff and landing portion of the flight. The flight attendants made me aware of this. It is designed for a child to sit with their back facing you. Well, with my squirmy child on my lap, he wanted to be turned around looking at me for most of the flight, and this vest made it difficult. On our return trip I did not even use this. I bought this item solely for my peace of mine, but I definitely will not be using it again.
