Baby Banz Sunglasses By Tina Lehman on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I am a biologist and study the effects of UV radiation. Knowing how important UV protection is, I was very careful to have my new baby protected from the sun's harmful rays- including her eyes.
I purchased Baby Banz sunglasses online just as summer was beginning. These sunglasses come in small sizes especially for little ones, and have a soft neoprene band that keeps them from being pulled off. The band is adjustable with a velcro closure and is easy to work with.
Initially my daughter didn't like the feeling of the sunglasses on her face, but I don't think it was because they were uncomfortable. After a few minutes of keeping her from messing with them, she left them alone. When I took them off her there were no marks on her head or face that suggested to me they were too tight.
These little sunglasses are really adorable, and come in tons of colors for all ages of babies. I would highly recommend them for parents of little ones who plan on spending a lot of time outdoors in the summertime.

I love this idea Frogdoc! Thank you for sharing another baby protective product here!
These must be great for swimming. I like the fact that they can't fall off little ones.
I have tried and tried to get my son to wear sunglasses but he only lasts a few minutes. getting your daughter to wear them now will be a huge blessing for her in the future.
I have tried these as well on my daughter. They look very cute
Trying to keep the glasses on is half the battle, but it is important to protect babies eyes. Your baby is a real cutie in them!
Cute... she's a model already! Does she get a percent of the income? Your research into this product was helpful.
I loved these for my daughter too. Now that she is older I wish she would keep them on!
Your pictures are so priceless!! I like the fact that the band has velcro to protect the baby!!
It's great that there were no marks left on baby, that has to mean they were comfortable for her.
My daughter needs a pair of these. I'm afraid I won't be able to keep them on her. She won't leave a hat or barrette on her head. I still need to work to protect those little eyes. Thanks for the information.
