Baby Bear's Books is another story in a collection written by Jane Yolen and illustrated by Melissa Sweet. As with the other Baby Bear books this one is over-sized and written in four line stanzas with an ABCB rhyme scheme. The easy to read words kept my child drawn to the book and the full page pictures of Baby Bear doing what kids do are very well done.

This particular Baby Bear book shows all the wonderful times and places Baby Bear enjoys reading, or having books read to him. It shows him enjoying books with both parents and even a sibling. The positive message about reading and how much fun it can be is a great one. It also reinforced to me the importance of taking time to read to my son and how much kids need this time and modeling from their parents.

I would recommend this Baby Bear book to anyone looking for new books to share with their children. The series is great and my son is always excited when we bring home a new adventure to read together.
