We did tons of research before we bought my son's first potty chair. He was showing interest in potty training and we wanted to buy the right product. A lot of the potty chairs on the market have lots of silly songs and light features. We didn't want my son to associate potty time with play time so we went with the boring white plastic Baby Bjorn potty chair. The only cute feature is the little bear and Baby Bjorn logo on the front. It is simple and perfect. There is a high backrest which is important for when my son needs to go "pooppoo", as he says! The other feature that is a total must have with a boy, is the high splash cover in the front. This prevents urnine from getting all over the place. Baby Bjorn makes a great potty chair. Yes, it's simple, but it gets the job done.

Good point about not associating the toilet with playtime! I'll check this out, now that my son seems to get gearing up for potty training himself! Thanks for sharing!

Looks like you are indeed a potty expert after doing all those research till you even see this point of ; with a boy there must have a high splash cover in front to prevents urine from getting all over the place...lol
I really do think simple is best when it comes to potty training-this sounds great!
