Baby Einstein: Baby Neptune DVD
By ccis2cool onAs a mother of two babies under the age of three, I have had a lot of experience with children's DVD's. This DVD in particular, is one of my kids favorite DVD's.
The Baby Einstein DVD series is great. It helps teach kids words, shape, colors, and so much more. The Baby Neptune DVD is one of my kids favorites because its focus in on water including the beach, ocean, rivers, lakes, and water around the house. My kids love ocean animals and the DVD also features many ocean creatures that my kids love. The DVD is also set to classical music, which can be relaxing to children as well. My kids can now name a lot of the animals featured on the DVD. So it is fun and entertaining at the same time.
The only downside to this DVD is that it is so short. For almost twenty dollars, you would expect to get more than 30 minutes of video. Plus there really are no extras on the DVD.
With that being said, Baby Neptune is a great DVD and my kids have really enjoyed it.

I love Baby Einstein - watch it with my great nieces and nephews all the time. I am not sure if they have this one. A great gift idea! Thanks
That is expensive for the amount of time it plays. But, I bet you have played it over, and over, and over. So, If you look at it that way, it's paid for itself :0) But, then I'm biased, I love Baby Einstein :0)
Classical music set to an ocean theme is such a great combination. It has been said that the classical music style also helps the brain function early on in life, showing that children exposed to it improve their intelligence. I am not sure how accurate this is, but it certainly cannot hurt!
You really did get your money's worth from this DVD since it's one of your kids' favorites!! I'm surprised too at the length of it-I would think it would be a little bit more!!
My little boy loves Baby Einstein. This sounds like a great video. Thanks for sharing.
My son would probably love this. He's crazy about anything to do with fish or sea animals. I don't think the 30 minutes would bother me. I don't think I'd want my baby or toddler watching more than that at one time anyway.
