Baby Einstein DVD Collection

The DVD collection offered by the Baby Einstein company has been a wonderful thing to have in our home.There are a total of 22 DVDs in this collection, and include things like Baby Neptune (water theme), Baby MacDonald (farm animals), and baby Galileo (stars and planets).
The images on the screen are brightly colored and slow moving. Images include puppets, toys, animals and babies. The background music is classical, so it is soothing and familiar.My six month old is mesmerized by the images, and my 22 month old learns new things from them daily.
I cannot say enough about these DVDs.I do not like my children to watch television, but have no problem with them watching these from time to time while I'm cooking dinner.When I sit down with them to watch it, we can go through the names of shapes, colors, animals, or whatever the theme of the DVD is.When I cannot sit with them, I can hear them from the other room responding to the DVD.
To purchase the entire set is a bit costly, but it has been one of the best investment I've made and I would buy them again in a minute.
This would make a wonderful gift for a new mom and her baby! They are really educational, but highly entertaining to such young curious minds.

Baby Einstein videos sound like the kind you don't mind having playing for the kids while you are busy in the kitchen. The fact that the background music is classical makes it easy for Mom to listen to, and educational for the little ones. Maybe this is where the preference for GOOD music will begin!

The Baby Einstein DVD collection sounds absolutely wonderful. I have been searching for a gift to give as a baby shower present. I am definitely sold on this baby DVD collection. I think that the expectant mother will love this and get a lot of use out of the DVDs. Thank you for sharing your experience.
