Baby loves the Bumbo chair!

When my 3rd child was born, they had just come out with these Bumbo chairs. For the heck of it, I bought one because a)I was curious about them, and b)I had heard good things about them. I was able to sit my son in this when he was quite young because of the design of the chair. It helps to strenghthen baby's core muscles. It forces baby to sit up and use those stomach, back, and neck muscles. I discovered that at first, I could only sit my son in it for short amounts of time because he would get tired and then get cranky. But over time, he could sit in it for longer periods of time. I then discovered that they sold trays that can hook onto the Bumbos. Of course I just had to get that as well! My son loved the tray because I would put all his toys on there. When he became old enough, I would put his Gerber Puffs on it.The Bumbo really is a great chair. The material that it's made of is a VERY durable rubber like material. Baby can bite it, scratch it, whatever...it holds up perfectly. I wish I had this with my daughter because she has special needs and as a baby, she had very low muscle tone. This chair could have really benefitted her.The Bumbo gets my vote of approval!
