Reviewing: Baby Trend Santa Fe Nursery Center And Playard Le
Purchased at: Gift

When I found out I was pregnant with my second child, I decided I wanted to match every thing I could.I found I liked the Santa Fe pattern Baby Trend had. Since pregnant women usually get what they want, we got the Santa Fe Nursery Center & Playard by Baby Trend.

This playpen is an all-in-one system. You get the play yard, a bassinet, a changing station with a supply holder, a mobile, and a bag to carry it all in.We lovingly called our playpen "the nest" because of the netting, the cuddliness of it, and a big stuffed "Big Bird" toy our daughter had.

In the beginning, this play yard by Baby Trend was the most difficult thing I had ever tried to assemble. The first time I wanted to use it I had to wait for my husband to get home because I could not get the rails to lock. The playpen folds out similar to an umbrella but is more complicated. Imagine a woman wrestling with an octopus.

You must go through a series of steps to set it up in order for it to be safe (these steps are conveniently printed on the floor of the unit).I can tell you that once I got the gist of the thing, and fought it on my own a few times; I could finally put it up alone. Set up properly the Baby Trend Playard is definitely sturdy.

I loved this thing once I got used to it.Our baby used the Baby Trend Playard from birth until she was a little over two.We took it on trips for her to sleep and play in. Remarkably, after all that use (and fighting), it still looked new when I put it in storage.
