Baby v-smile! Yes it does what it say's and not only makes you smile but teaches baby all sorts of things. Mostly the basics for building anything like colors and nummbers,but it'll also let baby bring in different shapes and object. Once he/she relizes they control the TV they get right into it!
It's very easy to hook up and it'll run on a 12v or 4 AA batteries. I realy like baby v-smile because the remote part dosen't attach to anything so you can take it with you! There is a setting to play alone to take it on trips! I would highly recommend this as a gift to any little one,very educational and fun for baby and parents!

When my son was little we had several vsmile items and had good luck with all of them.

What a fun little learning toy! Wish they would have had something like this when my daughter was a baby!
Sounds interesting, I don't know how much a 6-month old would learn by watching tv though - I'm sure it works for some people.
