Baby's First Lullabies Book and CD
By Jessica Ne onThis is such a cute book. My husband picked it out recently when we went to Michael's Craft Store. This book includes a CD that goes along with the lullabies inside.
The illustrations are adorable and I love the front cover. It has a moon and the CD is placed behind the front in a secure pocket so it looks like the stars are silver but that is actually the CD showing through.
This is a board book so it is very durable. This would be a perfect book for a nighttime routine. Each page has a lullaby. They include, "Brahms Lullaby", "Go to Sleep my Baby", "Golden Slumbers", "Twinkle Twinkle", "All the Pretty Horses", "Rock-A-Bye-Baby", "Sleep, Baby, Sleep", and "All Through The Night".
The book and CD takes 30 minutes to get through. Each lullaby is sung and then a nice tone is played that lets you know to turn the page. It is a very relaxing CD. The voices are very soft and the songs are slow. Children would be able to use this book for years because later on they could learn to follow along with the lullabies themselves.
My daughter loves the music and sometimes I just read the lullabies to her myself. This is a great way to get a baby to calm down right before bedtime.

This sounds like a great addition for a bedtime routine. I'd like to start something like that with the new baby - since my routine is pretty set with DS now.
I bought this more for my hubby, because he couldn't even remember Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star! We all love it in this house!
I love reading books to my kids at bedtime. This one sounds like a good lullaby book.
Brahms Lullaby", "Go to Sleep my Baby", "Golden Slumbers", "Twinkle Twinkle", "All the Pretty Horses", "Rock-A-Bye-Baby", "Sleep, Baby, Sleep", "All Through The Night". These are songs that we all like to sing...beautiful and wonderful songs.
