The Backyardigans Sing-Along Music Maker is a kiddie boom box that plays 10 Backyardigan songs from 5 different music styles. It also has a microphone so your little one can sing along. The Music Maker does come with an on/off switch so it won't go off when you don't want it to. We got this for my daughter's first birthday. She didn't really start playing with it on her own until she was about 16 months old. The boom box is recommended for ages 18 months and up. My daughter is in that age range now, but still hasn't mastered the microphone part yet. The songs are straight out of the show so if your child loves the show, they'll love this toy. It's very durable and has taken quite a beating. I can't think of a complaint about this toy and my daughter seems to love it too.
