My 7 year old son is so hard on his backpacks. This is probably the fifth one I have bought in two years. I noticed the other day that he had a hole in his old Spiderman 3 backpack, so I kind he wanted. He told me he wanted a "Bakugan" Backpack. I am not sure if you guys have heard of the Bakugan, but it is very popular among first graders here. They are little toys that you play some kind of card game with, kind of like Pokemon. I found this backpack at Target for the clearance price of $15.99+tax. This is the only style of I found. It has blue (my sons favorite) and black as the primary colors, and a picture of some cartoon kid on it. There is a compartment on the back pack that can store the toys and cards and also 2 big zip up pockets. I am satisfied with this backpack. It seems to be sturdy and holds my sons school books. It was a descent price and my son loves it. I would recommend purchasing this backpack for your kiddo.
I must say this back pack is pretty durable. I was looking through my reviews and saw that i wrote this when my oldest son was 7. He is now 9 and still uses this backpack of and on for school.
