I purchased the Bally's Over the Door Home Gym, because I wanted to tone up a little, and at the time I lived in a small one bedroom apartment. This home gym was supposedly ideal for small spaces, and designed to fit on any interior door.
I thought this home gym would be great for my needs, so I didn't hesitate to order it. I was disappointed before the gym was ever delivered. It was on back order for 6 weeks.
Well When it finally arrived, I was impressed with the booklet that demonstrated the exercises you could engage in. When it came time to set it up much to my dismay, this gym didn't exactly fit any interior doors in my apartment! I couldn't get the doors to close, this made the home gym pretty much worthless!
I took it to a friends house, it fit only her basement door... I tried it out, it was ok but really not worth sixty dollars! I have sinse moved two times. In my short term lease apartment, it also fit zero doors. In my house, it also fits zero doors in my home!
I rate the Bally Home Gym, to be one of the biggest wastes of money ever. The product leads you in with false advertisement... Designed to fit over any interior door my foot! Save your cash, don't buy the Bally Over the door home gym.

Interesting, if it is to fit tdoors, then it should by gosh. Sorry you spent your money on it.
OUCH! Wasn't there a way to return this thing, or find out if this was just a basdly produced unit? This is really shameful, that Bally would market something this shoddy.
I really do not carry for Bally or Bally products in general. I really find them to not cater to the consumer and be more focused on finding the right advertising to make a buck... I am sorry that you were taken by them with such a lame product. There are products out there that work... unfortunately unless you are able to try it out in a store or in someone elses home for yourself, it is really hit or miss. Thank you for letting us know about your experience!

Thanks for the warning on this product, doors are pretty uniform in size, so it should fit the door if it supposed to. What a rip-off
well that sucks, even though i would never buy this makes me on the lookout for cheap alternatives
