Banana Boat Ultra Mist Sport Performance Spf 50 By Jill Viers on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

When we were in the Florida Keys, we decided to try this stuff out. I'd always loved Banana Boat's tanning oils, so I thought I might like the sunscreen, too. This particular type of sunscreen is actually a spray on product.

When you spray on the product, it feels very cold on the skin at first, but it's not too irritating (it doesn't sting or anything). On the label, it says you don't have to rub it in, but I still did. I figured I'd get some weird looking streaks otherwise. Even though I still rubbed it in, it seemed so much easier to get full coverage with this product than with a lotion product that takes awhile to get it evenly applied.

This product doesn't have as strong of a fragrance as the Banana Boat tanning oils, but it still has that tropical coconut smell that I love so much.

We were in the sun for several days, and neither one of us got burnt. It is supposed to be waterproof, too. To be safe, I still reapplied it after swimming in the ocean, but I think it would've been ok otherwise.

I really liked using this product over a lotion. I will buy it again for sure!

Banana Boat is a very popular brand here in Australia. I haven't tried any of it's product though. I would love to give it a try. Thanks for the infos.
