Band Aid's Saved My Day! By Munky on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I was coming out of the shower one day and happened to cut the back of my ankle on the shower door. I picked up some Band-Aid (that's the brand name) plastic bandage. Firstly, I found the bandage to be very affordable; spending 5 dollars got me 60 bandages ranging in all different sizes. Secondly, the plastic bandage allowed for me to take a shower and it protected my cut from getting wet. Even after taking a shower the adhesive never wore off and the water didn't affect the bandage at all. Another great thing was the cut was on my ankle, and even though I walked around all day long, the adhesive never let go, and the bandage was exactly the same after several hours of ankle movement. When taking the bandage off I found that the adhesive didn't leave any sticky residue behind so I didn't have to worry about my socks sticking to my ankle. Overall these bandages were perfect due to the fact that they were comfortable to wear, waterproof, and didn't limit my walking in any way. For small cuts in awkward places I would recommend these bandages and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

It's hard to keep band-aids in the house when you have little kids. Somehow they end up on the stuffed animals more than the kids. LOL
