Bar Keepers Friend Cleanser and Polish cleans a variety of things in my house. I use it to clean my formica counter tops when they are stained. It cleans them right up. I can clean my sink with this product, although I usually use other products for that purpose. This also works on my cooktop stove really, really well. I like it a lot better than the products specifically made to clean the cooktop. This can also be used on brass and stainless. It works well to clean the outside of your stainless steel pots and pans. I like the fact that it never scratches the surface you are using it on. This is especially important on the cooktop. The only drawback with this product is the fact that it can leave a dull residue that you have to wipe off of the surface that it was used on. Not really a big deal, though.
