When Lever 2000 came out many years ago, my friends introduced it to me. We all agreed that we loved the clean scent it had, so the test was actually in using it. I liked it then and like it now.

Fast forward to today and I still use Lever 2000. I have tried the liquid wash but prefer the Lever Original bar soap with skin hydrating formula. Whenever I use a liquid, I seem to go through it faster, even when using a scrubby sponge. I prefer the old fashioned soap and wash cloth method. Lever 2000's scent isn't overpowering and has not once caused my skin to be irritated. You feel clean after showering or bathing and the scent lingers for hours, unless of course you go outside and sweat a lot. Normally I have to be careful of what I put on my skin because I can get red spots like a rash and then I have to wait on my skin to heal. I have never had a problem with Lever 2000. My skin never feels dry either after using it.

It lathers ok I guess. I wouldn't say it's a super lathering bar soap, but it's sufficient. I wouldn't consider this bar soap as a highly milled soap, meaning that milled soaps normally last a very long time because they contain very little air, are heavier and are truly all soap. We bought a 2 bar pack of the Lever 2000 and with two of us using it every day, I'd say we go through at least one bar every 2 1/2 weeks.
