My daughter got this toy for her 4th birthday and she loves it. It is a nice size head and the Barbie has a lot of hair for styling. It was a little difficult for her to try to style the Barbie's hair at first and then I realized the manufacturer put little rubberbands throughout the hair to make it look styled in the box...so once I removed them everything got a lot easier for my daughter. She has a lot of fun using the comb and the curling iron. The little pup that comes with it is cute and removable, but I do not think the hair on the pup will stay nice for very long. It is already kind of hard to brush after just a few times. My daughter loves that you can paint the pups nails and change Barbie's eyeshadow and hair color. I like the idea of it but I hate that it requires water to do so. It can get messy with the water unless you are playing on a counter or bathroom. All in all it is a really fun product for my daughter and she loves to play it...I just do not always give her the water to change the makeup unless I am supervising her.
