I have seen how much Barbie Doll Clothes have improved throughout the years. I personally have not had to purchase Barbie Doll Clothes since I have two sons, but I did purchase a few outfits for my friends little girls. I remember back in the 80's the only Barbie Doll clothes that a child could choose from was pants, skirts and shirts. The clothes were plain and simple looking. When I went to the store to pick up the gifts there were several different types of fashions and styles to choose from. The clothes looked like they were professionally designed. There were evening clothes, professional clothes, every day clothes and swim wear. I was not sure which outfit to purchase so I bought two different ones. One is an evening wear and the other is a casual wear outfit.
