My youngest daughter received this item for Christmas. While I was well aware from past experiences with Mattel/Barbie toys that they are usually not very durable, the hot tub party bus is by far the worst Barbie toy that I have seen. The party bus opens up and reveals a bunk bed, couch which opens into a bed, a kitchen area, a fold down table, and a bathroom. One side of the bus has a pull down side which opens into the hot tub. The bus has a plastic key which turns and activiates the sounds on the ignition, microwave, and music for the hot tub. At first glance, this toy seems to have everything a little girl could want in a Barbie playset. However, after the first 10 minutes of playing, I realized that this toy was nothing but problems. The couch will not stay together, even with gentle play. The oven door is so hard to open that my daughter needs to ask for my help to open it. The bathroom door falls off constantly and the bathroom wall doesn't stay on very well either. The shower head also doesn't stay on and the side view mirrors fall off constantly.
This could have been such a wonderful toy if Mattel had made it more durable. The concept is wonderful and my daughter does play with it but gets frustrated when it constantly falls apart. For the price, I expected a little bit more.

This is a terrible toy - great concept - but of such poor quality that it is almost never able to be used without frustration because it falls apart so easily. Don't bother buying it - it's a complete waste of money.
