Bare Bones Cell Phone Lg Vx3300 By Arplix Franklin on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The LG vx3300 was my very first cell phone and it is nothing but bare minimum. Speaker phone, text, get calls and that's pretty much it. The size was nice it was actually a little big but I knew it was there so it never went into the washer. No camera which was a bit of a disapointment but what could I expecpt with my first phone.

It's pretty durable it got dropped in the tub but it servived, took the battery out let it dry and it was fine for a while. I don't know if that killed it eventually or if something else did. It took flying across the room into a brick wall after a rather angry conversation but besides cosmetic damage it was fine. The reception on the other hand was terrible you had to go walking up and down the street to get anything!

The display was right on it was nice and big and the keyboard was once again basic. I didn't have a data cable for it so I had to record my ring tones and they sounded terrible but they worked. After a while of horrid battery life we found out Verizon had recalled those batteries as defective so we ended up getting a few new ones but it didn't help the battery life much still. For my first phone it could have been better but it could have been much worse.

It got the job done when I needed it most of the time but now Verizon doesn't use them anymore so now it's just sitting in a bag in my closet with all the millions of chargers I accumulated for every place I went.
