By lights onCanton, TX is home to the First Monday Trade Days held the weekend before the first Monday of each month.I have visited three times and I've never been disappointed.If going for your first time, check out the various websites out there dedicated to the Trade Days to become more familiar with the vendors, grounds, etc.There is everything from brand new home decor to very old antiques available to buy.Plan on spending more than one if you want to see everything.
Canton is a fairly small town and lodging is hard to come by.The few hotels in town book up months ahead of time.There are several towns within 30 minutes to an hour from Canton that offer decent hotels.
Once on the grounds, feel free to ask the vendors for their recommendations.We found a great place to eat and good parking thanks to asking the vendors.
