Barney In Concert Live
By DeDee onI know a lot of parents don't like Barney and I really don't understand why. Because children just adore him. Most children can watch Barney for hours.
I love Barney In Concert. The reason why most children like Barney is because of the music and dancing. This is why I love this particular Barney video best. It is all about singing and dancing. There is really no story to it. Barney and BabyBop are both in in it. The children in this video really reach out to the audience.
They sing some of the familiar songs that they sing in most Barney series shows too. For example, they sing Sally The Camel Has Five Humps and Raindrops And Gumdrops. This video is a at least ten years old. I don't know if it can be found on DVD or if it is only available on VHS.
I have to tell you that all my children watched this movie after lunch when they were younger and I was able to get lunch dishes done. As this is and hour and a half long movie too. Not like most of the series movies being only a half hour long.
My children liked Barney too. The singing ones only
We had tons of Barney videos when my son was little. He LOVED Barney! I think you are right, it's all that singing and dancing that holds their attention.
I don't understand how you can stomach Barney.
My daughter has just discovered Barney. We'll have to check this one out!
Kind of long for a movie in my opinion, but at least it entertains the kids so you can get some stuff done.
This brings back memories. My now 8 year old son had this video when he was a toddler/preschooler. Of all Barney videos, this one was his favorite.

I had to hear Barney three times a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner when my nephew watch it during his eating.
I hated barney at first. Then I realized the lessons and morals he teaches, and can now live with the cheesy, annoying videos. My son loves Barney!
Some very good things are taught by Barney, in a way that little ones can understand.
