Barong Style For Hubby By Crissy Taruc on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I damaged my hubby's uniform twice while ironing. Yes, twice and I'm sad because we need to buy the replacements and that cost us additional spending. At first, I tried a routine washing for the remaining two pieces of that uniform (he has four of that in all given by his office) but I find it hard. We decided to buy the replacements and we started looking inside the malls because if we try on those branded or signature tailored dress makers I am pretty sure it will be quite expensive. Among the several stores located in malls, he found the Baro de Manila who at first we thought was just selling pure Barong Tagalog (our national costume for men). He saw in the stand this simple yet well knitted and look-alike style of his damaged uniforms. Actually, we've seen several designs of office attire in the store. We bought it and I could tell that we made the perfect choice. The textile is great, the style is somewhat similar, the price is economical and it's easy to iron. Now I don't have to worry on the possibility of I might do it again. Yipee!!! I think they don't maintain a website, can't find it. :(
