Batanga.com offers a subscription to its magazine publication Batanga Latin Music free for one year, after you register for it on the website. Batanga Latin Music is a bi monthly publication that features Latin music through interviews with artists, CD reviews, and an insider's look in the industry. It is one of the only publications out there that focuses on Latin Music.

Every issue is full of interviews with the biggest names in music, from Pitbull to Nina Sky to Kinky to Ricky Martin. All the latest CDs to drop are disected and reviewed, letting you know the best and worst part about each album. My favorite sections are those that let you inside the industry, reporting on industry news, new and upcoming bands and what trends to look for in Latin music in the near future.

It is a free publication so I understand that there are going to be limits on quality, but I must say for free Batanga Magazine is just as good as any publication I would pay for. I would like for there to be a little more every month, maybe some more gossip sections or a look at the other lives of the artists- the other businesses they involve themselves in or start. Maybe a look at the Latin Music industry in each city. Great publication for free right now, so get it while you can.
