Batman: The Dark Knight

I am a big fan of good movies, there are very few things as spectacular as a well made movie. It must have the ability to put a smile on your face, or take it off, either way it has to tag at our emotional strings and for that reason The Dark Knight is a perfect movie. It is a well made movie with the appropriate amount of emotional connection without seeming patronizing. The Story revolves around the Arrival of a New District Attorney (Which is played by the ever brilliant Aaron Eckhart) and he has sworn to change the corrupt ways of Gotham but before he can achieve his goal, the entire city of Gotham has to deal with a New Villain: The Joker (Played by Heath Ledger in a dark, spectacular and frightening manner) and in comes The Batman (played by Christian Bale). The movie is a triumph, the acting is superb, the action is great, the cinematography and music sets the perfectmood,the Character are well defined, the stunts are insane and the Joker is just out of this world. if you are aching for a movie to see this holiday season, get The Dark Knight. Its just plain awesome. where most sequels fail miserable, the Dark Knight has proven that with a good director and a great cast, you can make magic happen. One last thing, be prepared to spare 152 minutes for it's runtime and thats without the extra/bonus features but believe me its well worth it.
