G'day All. Alex is an avid baseball kid, and a while back he needed a new bat,as he had out grown his t-ball bat. Now baseball is not as popular in Australia as it is in the states so unless we order from ebay and pay heaps for shipping our one stop shop is The Ausport Superstore. The staff there are all baseball enthusiast as well. They are a wealth of knowledge and suggestions. Well when we headed off to get the new bat I knew they would find him just the right one. I was not disappointed when they suggested the Rawlings Raptor -8. They knew just what to look for when he had a swing in the batting cage. He tried quite a few and this is the one they settled on,and I must say it has held up very well and the quality is great. A major concern with alum. bats is cracking of warping, but none of that yet. Alex is in this third season with this bat and it is still going strong. All we have ever done is rewrap the handle with new grip tape. I highly reccomend this bat, as it is reasonable in price and very sturdy. Cheers
