Battery Power Flosser Not As Good As Manual By jb_shops on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Every now and then I get an urge to see if someone really created a better mousetrap for the most basic of things in life. As with many other "better mousetrap" products, this one fell short.

This one of those impulse purchases hoping I found something that spice up my daily flossing routine without negatively impacting the effectiveness of the task.

First ergonomics, the packaging claims award-winning design that is comfortable and easy to use. Well I wonder if the award was like the Razzy's. My hand would cramp after each use.

The packaging also claims it is fast. While it does move at 10,000 strokes per second, that does not translate to completing the flossing task any quicker. In fact it took me about 3-4 times longer to floss using the machine.

It came with 15 disposable tips. I used each of the tips over about a 2 week period. I will not purchase any more in the future.

A good try which shows the sign of improvisation and thirst of learnability.

I am a picky product & service snob. Unfortunately my caviar tastes don't match my catfish budget. I am proud......
