Battlefield 1942

I thought Battlefield 1942 was a very fun game, but I also thought it was lacking in many areas. The graphics for example, I thought they graphics were not quite up to par with current games. I also thought that the lack of downloadable in-game content created problematic situations within the online play. Perhaps one good aspect of Battlefield 1942 was the unbelievable amount of user created "modifications" which could change the game entirely. Battlefield 1942 is a really fun game, but if graphics or top of the line appearance are important to you then it might not be worth the small investment. Battlefield 1942 is a fairly old game, but it caught be by surprise when I saw the vast amounts of servers available to play on. The only good reason I can see for buying Battlefield 1942 is if you have an old computer and it is the best that you can run.
