There are toys that go and toys that sing and toys that dance. There are toys that help baby walk and crawl and sit and read. There are toys that cost more than $100, and there are toys with a bazillion tiny pieces. Trust me, we have them all. Our house seems to be full of toys.

But what is our daughter's favorite toy? It's a very large, green ball we got one day at Target.

"Ball" was one of my daughter's first words. One day when we were shopping at Target she saw a huge cage full of them and started going crazy pointing and yelling "Baw! Baw!" So of course I had to get her one. What kind of mother would I be if I didn't?

She loves this ball. It's just your standard, bouncy, light kiind of ball. She pushes it and kicks it and rolls around on it. She can spend a lot of time with just this one toy. It's a classic!

This just goes to show that toys may change, but children don't. Maybe we'll get another one for the backyard.
