Be Mine Bear

My daughter received this terrific Teddy Bear from her boyfriend for Valentine's Day a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, at the time, she was about to break up with him. It was the biggest Teddy Bear that I have ever seen. (They have some like it at Walmart this year, and they retail for $40.00.) It is an off-white huge Teddy Bear with a heart ribbon and a medium sized satin heart pillow that says, "Be Mine." I was really impressed. (She clearly wasn't, as she tossed it aside, along with the large Valentine's candy heart box of choclates.) This was very sad to me, as she felt pressured by this young man to get married, and she wasn't ready, and I guess the spectacular Teddy Bear made her feel even more trapped.(Very soon after that, she broke up with him.)

I, however, rescued the wonderful Teddy Bear (and the chocolates), and he is now for sale this year in my Collectibles booth! He is the softest Teddy Bear to hug, and very plush feeling. (I had a difficult time letting him go.) Hopefully someone will purchase him that has a happy ending to their love story.Teddy Bear deserves that, as he is a super nice guy!
