Last February 27 and 28, our company held a kick-off teambuilding and the venue was Be Resort. Formerly known as Microtel inn and suites.

Just below 30 minutes travel time from the Airport, around 4.4 Kilometers to and fro Mactan International Airport, to this hotel and a few blocks away from the more popular Shang-rila Hotel. The hotel actually has a vibrant feel, the color theme is white, from the furniture to the even most of their systems are colored white. I felt like I was in a mythology setting as the architecture somehow is reminiscent that of the greek structures.

The place is not as big as any other resorts but it is spacious, really minimalistic in design. I love the ambiance though despite that it is a little bit expensive that what it is worth. I love their bathroom as well especially the shower and their bed, it is very confortable especially the pillows. Normally I have to toss and turn before I'd get to sleep but in this hotel I was able to sleep right away.

The hotel is relatively new and the administration is new as well, so anyone who have had the experience of staying there could always find some rooms for improvement.

The hotel's lounge area isn't as organized especially during morning breakfast, since this area is used to serve food every morning, the good thing though is that they serve breakfast as early as 6am. Wifi is not free, another setback knowing that you have already paid much for a simple room.
