Bears - Book

I bought my son a book from Scholastic called Bears. It is an excellent first book for children. Each page has three to seven words on it and it is in large print. There is a huge picture on every page that goes with what the words say. That way the children can look at the pictures for clues as to what the words might say. After about three days with this book my six year old can read it entirely. It has fourteen pages, just enough to keep it interesting to a child, and not too long that it drags on. Obviously I feel that this is a very nice educational book, considering that it is the first book my son has been able to read. Each page also includes a little pop-up near the top with a fun bear fact. This will be great for when he gets a little older.
