My husband and I are non-smokers and though we respect anyone else's right to smoke, we don't want them smoking inside our home. Occasionally, someone comes by who doesn't know us well enough to know how we feel about the subject. This cute little sign makes our position very clear without being mean about it.

I found this sign at a cute little gift shop that has since gone out of business. I thought it was perfect for our home.

The sign is made of wood and has two cute little bears and a duck carrying a fire hose. The sign says: NO SMOKING PLEASE (If we catch you, we'll assume you're on fire and take appropriate action.)

I love the picture and the message. It puts a little bit of humor into a situation that can sometimes be uncomfortable. This sign sits on our entertainment center in the living room. Anyone who comes in will see it immediately, so we don't have to go through the "do you mind if I smoke?" conversation. Yes, we do mind, but we don't want to offend anyone, so this sign is very helpful.
