This is an album for only a Beatles enthusiast, like myself. It contains alternate versions, instrumentals and different takes on the Beatles songs that some casual fans may not be interested in. These songs are items such "Eleanor Rigby Instrumental," "Within You, Without You Instrumental," and "A Day In The Life" without the 41 piece orchestra. While I feel this is enjoyable to listen through, it is only really appreciated after one has listened to all the original music repeatedly and just wondered what else they could have done with it. For this reason, I think that people should listen to all of their original music before buying this one. This is part of a 3 piece audio CD Anthology Set. This is not to be confused with The Beatles Anthology Book or DVD Box Set. However, this is worthy purchase for a Beatles fan that already know them forward and back and is just craving some more of the greatest band of all time. I have not listened to the Beatles Anthology CD 1 or 3, but I expect them to be similar in their style.
