Beautiful Blue Mugs

The grocery store where I work also has a Starbucks kiosk in it. This means that every day I get to see the merchandise that Starbucks has for sale (besides having become addicted to lattes). Its fun to see the different styles of mugs and cups that they come out with every season. But even better is that I consistently see which items go on clearance and then usually get pretty much first dibs on them if I want to.

Recently, I saw these mugs which attracted my attention because of the beautiful colors. The blue is the color you notice first, but it is alternated subtly with a rich, dark, coffee brown. I also really like the style and fit. (Have you ever noticed that some cups/mugs are easier to hold than others?) This design has a littlescooped-out spot on top of the handle for your thumb. Its surprisingly comfortable to hold with that little detail added.

I kept eyeing these, but felt like the original price of $6.95 each was just a little steep for pure indulgence, since I didnt really need new mugs. But when they went on clearance for $3.95 each I lost my ability to resist!

So now I own these beauties and they are the first mugs I reach for in my crowded cupboard because I really love them.

Starbucks is always bringing in new merchandise which means they have to clear out the old. Watch for those sales if you are in the market for some new mugs to brighten your morning coffee routine.
