Beautiful Nails In 10 Minutes! By karlawmcdonald on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I have recently discovered a way to "cheat" at having nice looking nails without a lot of hard work.
While shopping at our favorite store a few months back I was in the nail care section picking out some polish my eyes kept wandering to the artificial nail section. They have really come a long way with these!
What I like is they are so natural looking now, and you can chose any color, style or length you are comfortable with.
They have one called Color Allure, the nails are pre painted, all you do is clean your own natural nails, apply the glue provided and press down the appropriate nail size and voilà, you are well manicured and no one is none the wiser, all in less than 10 minutes!
They have the French manicure, colored, you can get short, medium or long and in filed or squared tip. My only complaint about this particular brand is the color selection is not that big yet, other than that I love them! Instead of waiting for polish to dry, you wait about 30 seconds for the glue to dry and it is done.
Me having Boutonnière Deformity and Swan Neck Syndrome in both hands, painting a colored polished and it looking OK is near impossible for me, so this is the perfect solution!
Revlon 91051 Vintage Velvet Purchased at: Wal-Mart Price: $4.99

I like these! I've never seen them in the stores, at least not yet. But when I do I'll try them. These nails are perfect for when you really need to look 100% and don't have time for a full manicure.
This is great! Way cheaper & faster than going to the nail salon!
I've never used press on nails before. How long do you wear them and how do you remove them?
My dumb luck-these would fall off of my nails!!! What a pretty color!!
That was my fear when first trying these, but they hold up really well, I can type with them, bathe my dogs, work in the garden and yard, I have found nothing to knock them off yet, I have to use the nail polish to soak them off, so I am really pleased with their durability. :)
These are my kind of nails, going to Wal Mart tomorrow.
Since my nails are almost always in a bad condition, this would be the perfect option for me. Now, all I have to do is get rid of my nail polish addiction.
Maybe Revlon Velvet Nails will keep me from biting my nails!
