BebeSounds' 1-Second Ear Thermometer is ok. It is waterproof. Also it is easy to clean with alcohol. It beeps when the reading is complete. There is a big lighted display. It makes it easy to read. It is small and compact with an ergonomic shape. The last reading automatically shows on the display. The memory stores the last 10 readings. It measures in Fahrenheit or Celcius. Sometimes it takes more than a second to check my baby's ear. That is because she tends to wiggle when I put any thermometer in her ear. I have a different thermometer and they both give the same reading so I know it is accurate. It takes only one lithium battery at a time. It doesn't use up the battery juice fast so I don't have to buy batteries for it very often.
