Bedtime Baby Powder And Aromatherapy By ladychai on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Before my baby goes to sleep, I make sure that she freshens up. Either a half, sponge or full bath so that she will not have trouble sleeping. I make sure that Johnson's baby bedtime powder is also applied.

This powder actually contains lavander and chamomile. For aromatherapy, lavander actually has a sedative effect which calms the person who gets to smell it. It will help you relax your body thereby if you use this before going to sleep you'll end up sleeping like a baby should.

Like her father, my daughter has a tendency to snore which I believe to be hereditary on their side but when applied with Johnson's bedtime baby powder, she ceases to do this and sleeps quietly and she moves less as compared to sleeping without having her bath and powder.

I so believe in the effects of aromatheraphy, whenever I have a body massage I always use jasmine which like lavander, also has a sedative effect and I will sleep throughout the night dreamless and wake up fully alive and active. Aromatheraphy really helped me and my daughter, I used to have nightmares when my ex-husband and I broke up but aromatheraphy helped a lot. I believe my daughter is also affected with the new setting of our family that is why she is constantly restless.

I am glad that Johnson and Son have thought of the idea to incorporate aromatherapy in their products, at least now it is not as difficult to find these aromas and not too costly as well.
