Bee Bar Bee Bar Review By sizwizz on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

One of my customers gave me the Bee Bar as a Christmas gift. Since my hands are always in water and chemicals, I looked forward to trying this bar out. The listed ingredients are, shea butter; Jojoba; bees wax; lanolin; cocoa butter; sweet almond oil; and vitamin E. All good stuff.

It comes packaged in a cute round tin with a bee embossed onto the lid. The same picture of the bee is pressed into the bar itself. It had a pleasant smell... like honey, which you would expect. I took it out of the protective wrapper and rubbed it between my palms; similar to lathering a bar of soap. It felt waxy, but I suppose that's because it contains bees wax. I was hoping for something that would glide on; not this build-up of wax!

I'm not sure I'd buy the Bee Bar for myself; however, it was a thoughtful gift. It feels too 'thick' to suite me. Honestly, I challenge you to turn a doorknob while wearing this stuff! As far as conditioning my hands--it does a fair job; that is, if you don't mind wearing "wax gloves" as it moisturizes!
