Beech Nut Jar Baby Food
By Jessica Ne onRecently my daughter started eating baby food. I wanted something very easy for her to start with that was not full of bad ingredients. I had signed up for e-mails from Beech Nut and when they sent some coupons I decided to give them a try first.
The first thing I did was look at the ingredients. All of the Beech Nut baby foods say they are prepared with the fruit or vegetable and water that is necessary for preparation. The only sugar is the natural sugar from the food. That was very nice to see!
We have started my daughter out on the vegetables first and her favorite is butternut squash. I always try each new thing and the foods are actually not bad. They are a little bland though.
The jars are very easy to use. They come in 2.5oz. jars for stage 1 foods. My daughter sometimes only eats half of the jar so I am able to put the rest into the refrigerator for the next day.
I only plan on giving her the plain fruits and vegetables and I am staying away from the meats. For some reason that just freaks me out! In a few months I am going to start making her baby food but for right now this is working great for us. The jars are very inexpensive and I never have to wonder what the ingredients might be. I feel safe giving my daughter this baby food.

We used Beech Nut quite alot for our son and he seemed to enjoy it.
I agree, I never could bring myself to give my daughter the meats either! Just the thought was disgusting!
I like this ingredient list, nice and simple!
My sons also ate Beech Nut as babies. It is a good choice, especially for the price.
My babies ate Beech Nut baby food as well, there products are good for the price.
I always like the ingredients, but I am a big fan of making my own. BUt this is a good fall back for the times you are out of variety.
This is a good price on Beech Nut-I don't know why I never used this when my son was younger!
Sounds like the perfect food for your little one! I hope she likes more than the squash!
I feed all three of mine with beechnut. I even used the dry ceral.
I remember having a shelf full of these wonderful little jars for baby - seems so long ago! Glad to see this quality company is still around helping everyone feed their little ones.
