Beginning Intermediate College Textbook By kristyh on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
Because of my low math scores on my Compass test for college I had to take a Beg./Int. Algebra class. YUCK! I am obviously not a fan of math. Before this class I had not taken a math tests for almost 10 years. This book did explain equations and problems in a way that even the mathmatically challenged could understand (most of the time). I think it was easier (but still pretty hard) for me to understand this book because I had a good teacher. I do not honestly know why anyone would want this book unless you had to have it for school. But hey to each his own. This book is your classic math textbook- heavy, full of equations and word problems, and answers to the odd numbered questions located in the back. I would not recommend buying this book from your local college bookstore (like I did). You can find this book for cheaper at ebay, half.com, or amazon.com. This book is expensive, I bought it for $180+tax for a used book. Talk about highway robbery!
