Olhausen Billiards make a wide range of pool tables. This is a very good table but not even close to their best one.
This is a maple table with a mahogany finish. The rail sights are round pearl.It has leather shielded pockets, Accu-Guard Cloth (by Hainsworth of England), and American made Accu-Fast Cushions (with lifetime warranty).
This table has had a lot of hard use (kids playing, parties, being used as a buffet table, etc.) but still is completely solid, flat, and true.It has been recovered a couple of times.The cushions are very consistent, you don't experience erratic bank shots.

I miss our pool table - we had to leave it at the other house because when the basement was finished we couldn't get the slate top up carefully enough not to wreck the new walls :( oh well - I'll have to just come & stare at yours for awhile Eggy ;) Thanks for the info!!

I love playing pool! And my family was planning on buying a pool table RIGHT BEFORE the stupid recession hit. SO now we're on a tight budget and will probably have to wait for the economy to get better before we can spend that kind of money. :'( Great review though! :D
