Behr Interior Eggshell Finish Latex Paint
By cafn8me onMy husband and I have used Behr paint to decorate all the rooms in our house.Behr offers a HUGE selection of colors and finishes (and the ability to custom-match any color by bringing a 2" sample to any Home Depot store). We tend to favor the eggshell finish, which is more forgiving of our 80-year old home's imperfections.Although it's relatively inexpensive compared to most other brands, this paint's coverage is fantastic! We even used it to cover the hideous reddish-purple hue used on some woodwork by my home's last owner. It covered beautifully! The paint is easy to apply with brushes and/or rollers....it's not too thick or gloppy, or too thin and runny.
For me, the best part is that I can wash this paint as needed without washing away the color. The paint stands up very well to the abuses doled out by my family too.No chipping, fading or signs of wear.

I'm going to be doing some painting soon in my house. I was wondering about this brand of paint. Lately I have seen commercials on tv about it and it's currently on sale in my area! So looks like I will have to give it a try. I love that you can wash the walls and it doesn't come off!
I am not a professional painter, but that simply means that I do not make my living that way. My results say otherwise. At 62+ It is my opinion that Behr Premium is a very good paint at a very good price. I paint with airless sprayer, roller, brush, HVLP rig, Paint pot and pressurized roller, and this paint works well with all. With regard to paint, one must always remember that the paint is usually the cheapest part of a residential paint job. 10 or 15 bucks a gallon difference in price should not mean that much when you are not covering all that much square footage, and I used to use BM exclusively, but at 2+ times the price of Behr, they have reached the point where it does not make sense to pay double for a few percentage points in quality. Since paint application has so much to do with the quality of your tools, Buy the Behr paint, and spend what you saved on good brushes. A 2 inch 15-20 dollar Purdy angled trim brush is a pleasure to use. Buy Pro Pans, with liners, good drop clothes, and you will lower your blood pressure considerably.
I also prefer Behr to the more expensive brands. I find it usually covers in one coat. Good review.
I also prefer Behr paints. I have used it in every room in my house and if I get enough ambition I will repaint my plain white bathroom with some shade of blue Behr paint. Nice review.
