Belgian Waffle Maker By chesneychic on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

While we were on a vacation this year we stayed at a hotel that included breakfast and they had where you could make your own waffles it had a handle where you could turn it and they were so good that as soon as I came home I start looking for one for my house. I found one at Jcpenny it was the cook brand which is Jcpennys brand it was $79.99 and was non stick and came with a recipe booklet. It turns the waffles 180 degrees and has a locking handle and a tray underneath to collect any moisutre that comes out. The first time I used it I loved it! It wiped clean very easy just needed to use a paper towel and I was very impressed. The second time I used it I noticed that the waffles were sticking a little bit so I thought I had maybe messed up the recipe. It tells you not to use cooking spray in it because it is non stick but the next time I used it the waffles stuck so bad that I couldn't get it out of the waffle maker. Cleanup was horrible because the waffles were getting stucck in the maker and I didn't want to soak it in water because I wasn't sure if it would ruin it. I even tried using cooking spray but the waffles still were sticking I lost my reciept so I couldn't take it back to the store and was very dissappointed in the amount of money I spent and how horrible the quality was.
