Belkin Video Transfer Cable By Bosoxy on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
When I went to transfer video from my camcorder I did not realize that the cable included with my camcorder would transfer over video only to my computer. No audio. I read in my manual that I needed a cord that would go into my i input of my computer.
This was in February 2004.
We went out to Circuit City to see what we could find. I ended up picking up a nice 6 foot long Belkin i input audio/video cable. The price was a bit more than I expected to pay, but it looked well made and I needed one so I bought it.
The cable ended up being much longer than what I needed, but could come in handy for those who had to use an outlet across the room for their camcorder.
The input ends fit into both my laptop and camcorder snugly but smoothly. I have used the cord time and time again and the ends are still holding up strong and they still fit the devices just as well as they did the first time I used it.
The quality of the transfer of both video and audio are top notch. I have no problems with the transfer, which is smooth. I have used the cord for various qualities of transfers and have been happy with all of them. This cord is able to transfer up to DVD quality.
Belkin 6' i Cable Purchased at: Circuit City Price: $33

It really pays to do your research on things like audio/video cabling. Belkin makes very good cabling for this purpose and their customer service is great when you run into problems.
This definitely sounds like a must have & the quality that you're getting from your transfers sounds excellent!!
You'd think they'd include an audio/video cable with your camcorder! Good thing you were able to find one easily. Thanks for sharing!
