This bike rack is great if you only transporting 2 bikes. It was quite inexpensive and very easy to hook to my then 2 door Honda Civic. It does not provide any security so if you are going in a store or establishment you may want to have someone watch the bikes. It really does not take up a lot of room. I have mine stored on a shelf in my storage room and it light enough that my 12-year old can move from the car to the storage room. The colors are basic black and red and the rack has cushions so you do not scratch the paint of your car. I was able to transport an adult ladies bike and a 16 inch child bike with the rack. The bikes were quite secure as I rode thru the city and over bumps and holes in the road.
