I was browsing at one of my favorite stores, Dollar General, when I noticed a display of Mothers Day cards.I have bought cards from Dollar General before, but the Mothers Day card I bought seemed a little nicer than the others I have purchased in the past.The card is by Bella Greetings.I would say that they are of the quality of Hallmark Cards.
The card is made of heavy cardstock with a tri-fold design.The front even has a decorative cut and the inside has a scalloped edge, as shown in the pictures.It has a very nice sentiment written on 2 pages.
The marked price on the back is $3.00 and $3.75 Canada, however, the price I paid was only $1.00. I love giving cards, but sometimes the prices are outrageous.I will definitely be back to buy more of these quality cards at a tremendous price!
Got to love the dollar stores. I think it's great that we can find beautiful things to give to friends and family and not break the bank. I agree that this a great store.
We live in the country and Dollar General is the closest store to my house. I have been in there a few times but have never thought to go there for cards. Thanks for letting me know and I will have to check them out. They are way less than picking them up at the grocery store.

What a great find at a great price. I'll have to remember this for buying cards. I hate spending so much on them.
These look like lovely cards. I always try to get my cards at a dollar store too...there is usually a good variety and sometimes they have very unique beautiful cards like these!

I, too, do not understand why cards have to be so expensive. This one stands out at only $1, and it seems to be a good quality card.
I love to buy cards and give cards, but with the prices of cards now it really makes it impossible to give as much as we want sometimes. This card like it of great quality for the price, thanks for sharing.
I just spent $14 on Mother's day cards at Hallmark, and that was with a $5 off coupon! Guess next time I should check out the dollar store!
