Benefit Cosmetics High Beam Highlighter By hlmdcm on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Highbeam is a great highlighter and despite the high price, because you use so little, it will last you a long time, much longer than a highlighter pen or eyeshadow pan would. This highlighter is a very light silver pink, so apply it sparingly. It is made for pink based skin tones or alabaster skin. It is very thick, (if you turn the bottle upside down it will not spill out) so blend carefully and apply lightly. I prefer to use my own applicator, a q-tip or my finger since I do not like the applicator that comes with it. Good to highlight your cupid's bow (the "V" above your upper lip on your lipline) dot a tiny bit on your browbone and blend. Blend it quickly after applying. For a cheekbone highlighter, this is great , but it is a heavy glimmer base, not glitter but it is not really suitable for daytime wear unless you really, really blend. It also seems to highlight big pores, so avoid those areas if possible.
