I've never seen transformers before. I didn't know anything about them except they were cars that transformed into robots. In fact, preview for the movie didn't look so great to me. It just looked like a movie about robots fighting. I watched the movie because, of course, my husband was a transformers fan. Let me tell you, it was hilarious. It is a very well done movie with lots of humor, action, and drama. Of course that meant we had to buy the DVD as soon as it came out so we could watch it again. I must say watching it the second time, it was just as entertaining as the first time. At the end of the movie, we got to watch all the extra features on the two disc set including origins of the series and film, deleted scenes and commentary. There is much more on the two disc set that will satisfy your craving for more transformers, because that's how the movie left me!
